Ear Fixin’

Well today was the day of the surgery on my ear.  My head still doesn’t feel right after all the anesthesia and of course I took some vicodin a little while ago when we got home, but  for the most part I’m feeling pretty good.  They called yesterday afternoon to tell me to be there at 6:30 this morning.  After checking in and sitting in the waiting room for about 2 hours, they called my name and it was my turn.

Everyone was great.  Well let me take that back.  My anesthesiologist was great.  I don’t remember anybody else.  LOL  I went in, I was out, and about 2 hours later I was waking up.  There was some pain when I woke up, but it was bearable.  They gave me a few more shots of pain meds through the IV, and then within another 45 minutes to an hour I was on my way home.

I got home, had something to eat, took some vicodin and fell asleep until about 40 minutes ago.  Now I shall lay here and watch my movie that came from Netflix and pretend that I’m a little bit worse than what I’m actually feeling so that Jacob will continue to baby me for the night.  LOL
