Don’t Get Had

Did anyone else have any pranks pulled on them today?  I did.  Nothing major, but it did make my heart jump a couple of times.  LOL

First my boss sent me an email that said that she didn’t realize that Lani had requested the same days off as I did for the end of this month, so she was going to need me to come in those days.  I was about a half a second away from getting pissed off about it, when I remember what day today is.  I sent her an email back and told her that I hoped she was trying to pull one on me because Lani just told me the other day that she would be back on the 22nd.  LOL  It was a nice try.

THEN not long after that email she sent an email to the rest of us saying that she had just got an email from the home office saying that they were going to be conducting some lay-offs in May.  Had she not just tried to get me with my vacation time, I may have fallen for the second email since we have been wondering if there were going to be any changes within the company anyway.  Luckily I didn’t fall for either of them.  At least not for long.  LOL

I want to try and think of something to tell Jacob before I see him in a little bit.  I think I’ll just tell him about the "lay-off email" that Keri got today.  See if I can get him or not.

Friday is my one year anniversary here at work.  I can’t believe that it’s already been a year.  THAT IS CRAZY!!!!  Time flies when your having fun.

Things are starting to look up for us financially.  I’m hoping that by the end of this month or around the middle of next month that we will be sitting comfortably again.  If it wasn’t for this trip, we would be able to get everything paid up bill wise this month.  Oh well… I’m excited to go home and see my family and friends.

Well I hope nobody got had to much today.
