Mommy, I said PLEASE!!
Hey kids.
Day started off rough, let me tell you.
I woke up at 615. Sponge Bob was playing on the TV. I knew something was wrong right that moment.
Then I looked at my clock again. Wait, 615??? Shit.
I was susposed to be up at 515 for a shower, and get James ready, so we could leave at 6.
Oops.
Somehow, I managed to get up, dressed, showered, get James dressed, and us out the door, by 630. I kept thinking “There is no way Im going to make it to work by 7…”
Somehow, my doing 80 on the highway, managed to get me at work, 2 minutes till 7 am.
I clocked in, got to work, busted ass. I was pleased with myself. About 10 am… My sup comes around the corner, telling me… it was time to log out. I was a tad puzzled, until I looked at our cues. We had NO work. I was being sent home.
So, from work to Brighton I went, to the new apartments. She had called at 8 am, and told me I needed a co-signer, so I went to pick up the application, and take it to my dad. Which, I did. By 1130, it was filled out and faxed back to management, to verify everything was a go for me to sign a lease.
So, I dropped dad off, and went driving, to get my bearings. I want to make sure I know my surroundings as well as possible. Anyways. So, I went, got my nails done, and wandered Wal-Mart for a bit… finally going back to moms house to avoid spending money.
As it was, I was already taking $1131 to the new apartment…
Went back to moms, hung out, relaxed… then, at 330, I caved, and called Jan at the new place, to see where things stood, before I made the drive back to my end of the woods (a hour drive south). She said she would call management and call me back.
15 min later, she called me, and said it was a go.
5 minutes later, I was down there, with Dad, signing my new lease.
*Grins*
Tomorrow, I go pick up my keys, and start moving things in, slowly. I will be getting rid of my couches, the bed, and James’s bed. My entertainment center will also go. *Sighs* I need to start fresh, with new belongings. So that I don’t have the pain, or memories, as I do here.
This is my Christmas gift to James and I. A new start, right before my one year.
<p align="center" style=”text-align: center;” class=”MsoNormal”>Thank God. Its needed.
Im also having a issue with James’s daycare assistance. Which, will be discussed in another entry. But, as of today, they told me his contract with the state ended. When I was just told not even two weeks ago that all was well…. *rolls my eyes* What a mess.
I will also have to find Socks a new home. Which I hate, but is necessary. She’s become a hardship on me, and is acting out a LOT, for one, and for two… There is a no pets policy in the apartment. I can understand. Somewhat.
Her biggest thing right now, is shes confused. And I hate to feel like Im punishing her, but, with me not being home all the time like I was… she deserves better. I do know that.
She deserves someone who can spend more time with her. And soon, I will be spending 2-3 hours a day on the road, plus my time at work… She just deserves so much more.
Anyways.
*yawns* No work tomorrow. Im gonna go plan out how to start packing and such… and then, get on it. Love you all.
PS. The title… James and I were sitting here, watching TV…and he said: Mommy, I want some more water, please. I told him to hold on, I was right in the middle of something. Know what the little turkey told me? But, mommy, I said please!!"
*HUGS* Congratulations, Mandi. You’re right…this is SO what both you and James need. Out of that apartment and away from some of the worst memories… It’ll be good for you to up closer to your mom too. *HUGS* I am so happy for you, sweetheart. Congratulations. It’s about time something GOOD comes your way. *soft smile* Love you.
