Poor Henry

My eye is watering and it’s getting rather annoying right now. I already have no makeup left on my right eye. And..my makeup looked really nice today (even if i do say so myself).it just all wells up in the corner of my eye and i have to touch it to make it roll down my cheek. it’s so annoying.

today has been…meh. still whining about the argument with Jordan last night when I woke up. But, he phoned and we patched things up and forgot about it all. he owes me something though. like…a bottle of water for a train ride home or something to make it up to me (:p at Jordan).

Eventually dragged myself out of bed and my mum intercommed me just at that moment to tell me that my cooked breakfast (at lunch time) would be ready in 2 minutes. aw. thanks mum. So i went down for that and my grandparents arrived. Bob and Ush. They visit every Saturday afternoon. I gave my grandad the sticks of rock that I got him from holiday. He seemed chuffed. My brother didn’t bring him any because he had run out of money. My mum didn’t bring him any because she assumed me and my brother would. No one had told him I had some for him so he was pretty surprised (baring in mind I’ve been back a week now and I still hadn’t given it to him).

Anyway, went to work. Well, went to pay off some of my staff card bill first (and put a new necklace on it straight away haha). ’tis this necklace. but it doesn’t look very pretty in this photo which is quite disappointing…it is pretty. I swear.

Work was ok. The other Lauren still has a severe attitude problem and I met her mother today. Well, I say ‘met’. What I really mean is, I got to work and Lauren’s mother was there. She didn’t even look at me. Carried on her conversation with Lauren. No hello. No ‘nice to meet you. No smile. Not even a sarcastic one like I get from Lauren. Nothing. Bah. I hope Lauren gets sacked after her 3 month trial period. Saying that *smiles sweetly at Lauren* I need her to cover both my shifts this weekend. That means her working all day Saturday and Sunday. 10-6 Saturday and 10.30 – 4.30 Sunday. Pretty please? hah. We’ll see. Damn Emily being on holiday.

Bit of bad news at work too. I rang Linda (my ex boss’ mum who i call my aunty and is also my hairdresser and also now works with me) to say that I could do her shift on Thursday. I orriginally wanted it off because it was the day my mum was going into hospital. They moved the date. She said that I had only just caught her. She had just got home. This morning her nan’s boyfriend died. It was expected. Poor Henry has been so ill for a very long time. He was in his 90s though so he’s done well. When I spoke to her she hadn’t even told her children – my ex boss and her brother. Adam and his girlfriend (is it still called that when you live together but aren’t engaged? seems weird) Beth were out and they didn’t want to tell Beck ( my ex boss) when she was home alone. (she lives with them now). So, might have to cover another 1 of her shifts or just cover one and not the 10th or…there are so many possibilities. I gave her my mobile number and said just ring me with whatever you decide. I would rather move my week around so she can have the time to sort the funeral and be with her mum and generally get over Henry dying. I just said I would help with whatever and to just let me know what she wants me to do. I’m nice like that you see. I kinda got a little choked on the phone during this though. Poor Henry.

Anyway, there goes my day. Oh and I just had a chinese. Was very nice but I ate far too much. My dog sat in front of me the entire time (I ate on the floor…I’m such a slob haha) asking for food stuffs. I gave him quite a bit actually. don’t tell my dad.

EDIT: may as well record it. it’s my diary after all. I’ve been getting the feeling of needing to cut recently. And an awful lot today. *sighs* I dunno. Maybe I will. Not that I really want to go back to it but I can’t stop thinking about it and I just feel *clenches fists* like that. *takes deep breath* it’s all cool though.
