Oh, I’ve been rambling haven’t I?
OK, I am going to write this entry. I will not accidentally delete it. I will not write it in the OD page because that just does not like me. I will not write it in Notepad (I usually do because it’s quicker to load and I’m impatient). I have waited the few minutes that my Word takes to load. Ok, so, my laptop will not overheat, turn off and lose everything I’ve written. If it does disobey me…Word will recover it. OK, now we’ve got some of the reason why I haven’t been updating out of the way…let’s get on with today’s entry. *saves entry to laptop* (Since when do I have a folder in my Documents called ‘Entries’? Oh, well, it’s being useful now.)
So, recently, I’ve refused to cut. I mean, going along with that is my grumpiness but I’ll just have to sacrifice the comfort of others around me just for now. I’m not getting stressed out. I’m taking a new approach. If I need to cut, I will. But only if I need to. I’m not going to accept stupid reasons or just do it because it’s habit to do so. Sensible Lauren is coming to play. (But it’s frigging well hard to distract myself sometimes)
I do have a rather nice distraction most evenings though. *smiles*

I went shopping today for a couple of birthday presents – little sisters tomorrow and Ash’s…erm…Saturday? Is Saturday the 6th? I know we’re going out on Saturday anyway. I did manage to get Zoe a present…but it was literally 10 minutes before the shops shut. I went up town straight from 6th form and met my mum because she wanted to get a couple of presents for my brother’s birthday. Well, I got 4 tops and a pair of jeans and my mum got…*thinks* 4 tops too (cheeky betch, I had to put them on my staff discount card but she did pay me back lol) and ordered a cardigan (which I will have to go and pick up because she will be on holiday…and put on my staff card again. Damn Arcadia Group). I just got Zoe some D&G perfume…one I already have so I know she’ll like it because she borrows it lol.
I popped into Debs to speak to my boss. She’s moving to London in 4 weeks and we just talked about her plans about moving and how much her mum will miss her and little things like that. Then, of course, she invited me to stay with her as soon as she gets settled (we grew up together and she’s moving in with her brother and his girlfriend) so…*smiles at one person in particular* Should be good. I told her I’m going to take a whole bunch of friends and get them drunk and crash at hers. Hah.

I have my exams starting soon. Blah. At least I found out today that my physics practical exam has been moved to the day after my biology practical exam. Originally they were on the same day at the same time so we would have to have done one after the other…with like 10 minutes in isolation in between for a drink or whatever. Thank god for that! That was the only thing I checked on my new timetable I went and had printed off today…I guess I should check the rest, right? See if I have any annoying ones around my prom. I will die if I have one the day after it.
Oh, and that’s another thing. I went to show my mum the dress I want for my prom today. It’s not very dressy…but I always said I don’t want a proper prom dress…I’m just not into that lol. And we are all obviously going to a club afterwards and I don’t fancy being in the middle of Lynn (not the safest place in the world) in a stupid flowing or sparkling thing. No pastel colours, no petticoats, no bodices. I just want a dress. (But I also don’t want to look underdressed lol). Ash has asked me to be his ‘date’. Haha. We don’t really do dates at my school but I love Ashley to pieces and he’s such a close friend…we would probably end up going together anyway. Don’t know. We shall see.
Oh, I’ve been rambling haven’t I? It’s just I’ve been a little down the past couple of days and actually today people have been asking what’s wrong but…I’ve had some sugar so I’m feeling happy right now lol. Anyway *shuts up*
