Cambridge

I went to Cambridge yesterday to have a look round the Anglia Ruskin Uni. I didn’t really expect to like it. When people say APU..or ARU now, you kinda automatically scrunch your nose up but it is *just* my kind of place. I had a really good time looking round, met some really really cool people including Chris Window who’s in charge of all the nights at the SU bar and he is amazing and made everything sound so much fun. He wasn’t the kind of person that you just know the lecturers had asked to show people round. He showed a true picture of it and was just the kind of person who I would love to go drinking with hehe. I don’t really care if I get into Sheffield or not now (sorry Henry). I mean, Sheffield sounds cool but this just seems like more *my* kind of place. I’m a very social person and because the campus is so small, everyone knows everyone and it’s just like a little tight community. It’s like Butlins or Pontins with lectures and I think I’d really love that. Sheffield isn’t gonna be like that..so even though I’ll go with an open mind, I think it’s pretty set that I’m going to Cambridge. And plus, I’m 40 mins from home on the train and get free train travel so it’s cool. I was kind of worried that I would *have to* go to Cambridge because I don’t get into Sheffield and I don’t really want to go to anywhere else but now I know that I really like it so it’s fine. *dances a little* I’ve been on a high since,

Oh and I went shopping in Cambridge and got some new shoes. They are so pretty. £45..and I got them for £12. Thank God for sales and staff discount. I wish we had shoes in the Wallis where I work. I’m so jealous. I might get to work in that shop though..if I go to Cambridge my area manager said I can transfer to their shop. But I might keep my job here, it’s only a little commute! But on the other hand, my boss might be moving to London so do I want to work here if she’s not here? I guess I’ll have to wait to see who the new boss is, hehe. The only reason I’m really still here is because of my boss though…*shrugs*

Been to work today. My feet hurt but I’ve had such a laugh today. I wont bother telling little stories about what happened because you don’t know who I’m talking about hehe
