Wow

I first discovered OD sometime around 2001 via the Houston Chronicle. There was a short article about this website called OpenDiary. I was intrigued, my father kept a daily journal for decades. I looked into it. Opened an account and started writing. I haven’t written in my diary for over a decade. Matter of fact, I paid for my diary. I don’t remember what the deal was, but I seem to remember it cost me about $60.

I drifted to blogger.com, then Twitter. OD was the first “social media” and i/we didn’t realize it.
