red lines comin in

welcome to the midwest.  the weather is the event.  yep.  last night we had thunderstorms that shook the house and rattled the windows.  i got up about 4:30 am to look out the window and listen for the tornado sirens.  it was dark so i couldn’t see, but i didn’t hear any sirens, so i went back to bed and slept, until about 8:00 when the thunder was, it sounded lke, literally rolling into the house.  strange auditory sensation.

i just checked the weather map and there is a nice brigh red line heading our way. 

and i get to leave in 15 minutes, if i’m lucky, i’ll beat the storms home.
