its a toss up

Had to be up and out of the house early this morning.  My Dr. ordred lab work for this morning.   Nothing to eat or drink after midnight.  Of course the hubby was all worried because the Dr. had ordered these last week.   I told him its just a routine thing.  After all it has been 2 years since they did all of this.   The poor lab tech lost suction in one vein, and had to draw blood from both arms.  She left a bruise, and apologized over and over.   I told her don’t worry about it, I’ll just get more sympathy from the hubby!

Then it was off to the paint store.  I had repainted our kitchen last January.  But when we had the new cabinets put in they were shorter than the old ones, leaving an unpainted strip underneath.  Plus we had some molding removed that left another strip unpainted.  I put the paint chip in that one spot I knew where I would remember.  Guess what?   I don’t remember where I put it.   I have been trying the last few months, to find a matching paint sample.  No such luck.    I think I found one close.   But I bought a gallon of paint this morning, in case I have to end up repainting the whole kitchen.   Something I don’t want to do!   And for some reason the hubby doesn’t want anything to do with it!

Yesterday brought many texts from the daughter.  She has been searching for a car.  Doesn’t think her truck will make it thru the winter.  Of course she has saved no money towards the purchase of a car.  J told her awhile back we would buy her the car, and she would make payments to us.  Well there is no way that is going to happen.  Now the deal is we will contribute 2000.00 towards a car.  Last weekend we found an older car for sale, the price 2000.00     I told the daughter to have her dad come and look at it, see if it is dependable.  Last night they finally decided to do that.   Well she was mad cause it had to many miles on it, and it was older.  I told her when she can afford her own car, she can make the decision how many miles and how old it will be.   Now her and the ex are going car shopping this weekend.   Fine, but we are only contributing the amount said.   Grrrrrr………………

After a fogged in morning the sun has tried to make an appearence.  But rain back in the forcast for later this afternoon.   I really want to get the lawn mower out and mulch all of the leaves that cover the backyard.  Every time the dogs come back in, they have a leaf or two stuck to them.  The littlest one has decided that it is fun to crawl under the shed.   I caught her Saturday digging a hole to get under it.  Then she decided to lay underneath it ,and wait out the rain.  By the time she got to the back door she was completely covered in mud!  Ugh!  I am so sick of mud from everybody.   Which reminds me, the hubby left his mud covered jeans at the bottom of the basement steps.

Time to get my butt moving!    Paint or mow?   Neither one sounds to appealing!

I’m with your hubby over the lab work, and even though it’s ‘routine’…I’m still going to be praying the results are nothing more than routine, too……and I offer my sympathies for the bruises, too…..
