Snow

It’s snowing!!! Quite heavily actually, it’s started in the evening and it’s already a lot of it, snowing quietly, covering everything around with the white, soft duvet.

It’s amazing how the whole world suddenly slows down and quietens only because some white, puffy thing is coming down from the sky;) . It reminds me so much of my youth, I grew up in Poland and we had and still have a snow every single winter, so it used to be just a normal thing to me, winter with the snow. So, when tonight I was coming back from the church with my friend (it took us almost two hours) I felt as I was 15 again, coming back with my friend from school. Snow will always remind me of my country and of my youth..it’s just the way it is, quite personal.

We left church at around 10ish pm and then got stuck in the bus, there was a heavy traffic (in the middle of night!) and the bus was moving slowly, making strange noises as it was about to break down or something, gosh. At least me and my friend had some time to talk things over, we have sort of fallen out in the past year, so it was nice to talk again, she reminds me so much of my college best friend in Poland!  

Tonight everything just worked well…except the public transport of course, but other things were just right…maybe it’s up to me, I felt OK with myself and the world so the world was OK with me too hmm…gosh how wise was that LoL;)
