Bicycle trip

 

I don’t have much time to write…as usually! I’m in Poland and unexpectedly I decided to go for a bicycle trip! My cousin attends those trips every year, he went on bike to some Eastern European countries and most of the Poland.

 

 

During this time when I’m in Poland there is another 4 days trip, to Beskidy Mountains and some parts of Slovakia, close to Polish borders. Don’t ask me why I have agreed and decided to go but I felt that this would an opportunity to go on such a trip. Few years ago my cousin told me about those trips and I always wanted to go. However, considering the fact how ‘city-sort of person’ I am nobody ever believed that I will ever attend those trips.

 

 

And here I am ready to go. I’m going to use my cousin’s girlfriend’s bike as she can’t go this time. We are packed etc. We take an early (6.30 am) train to some distant city (we will arrive around 1.30pm)and from there we will receive maps and the special car will take our bigger baggage.

 

 

There would be more than 60 people, we will receive maps each morning and then ride in a small groups etc. The most important thing is to arrive at the meeting point in the evening, the accommodation would be provided and the evening meal…mainly sausages from the fire. Often there are castles or some museums on the way to visit and the groups provide that too. I have never been on such a trip before, so I can’t say much. We will travel each day more than 30-40 kms. I hope everything will be OK. The trip is short and ends on Sunday.

 

 

My grandma is not happy, she is worried about the Euro games and that it might be dangerous etc.

 

 

As to the Euro the whole group will be watching the game (Poland-Greece) in some cafe or a bar.
