5 year diary!

After work I met with my friend who I haven’t seen for months! We went to one of those cosy, old fashioned pubs. It was nice to go out for a drink despite my recent winter laziness to socialise!

Also, I have finally bought myself a 5-year diary and decided to keep it every day for 5 years (if possible) The idea of this diary is to write every day only few sentences, each page is divided in 5 separate sections, each year you fill one section. It’s amazing idea, I can see what I was doing at exactly same day a year ago.

I saw online some blogs about old diaries, apparently they were very famous in 20’s and 30’s. Despite the fact that some of them might be boring….like ‘I went to the cinema and saw a movie’ I don’t know why I find it very interesting….:)

My diary is very simple, black one. It’s A5 size so there is a quite a lot of space for each day.

It’s from WHSmith and I like it the way it is, I might decorate it at some point

This one I found on Amazon, it’s a happiness journal, inside looks like this. I like the idea and colours but I will stick to my simple, black one

This small one is the most famous one among people who keep 5 year diary

it’s just smaller version, couldn’t find the image showing inside

Another one is also nice, on each day there is a question helping to fill the blank page…in case you find that you have nothing to say at that dayq and a a day: 5-year journalon Amazon site you can see how this one looks inside.
Here are some old diaries, this one is from 1954 written by a 10 years old boy

don’t have time to look for more examples.goodnight! 🙂

I think these are awesome! I hope you can keep up with this then, in 5 years time, you can look back on this ^^ I am so tempted to get one of these for myself. I have seen them at WHSmith {+ Rymans} many times. I am thinking of starting a 5-year-diary on my 21st birthday! xD.
