2013 in Review

I got a novella published, I finished the first draft of a novel & am in the process of reorganizing my poetry chapbook material for a different publisher when the first fell through. I’ve emceed a lot of open mics, a few even for pay. I’ve done a cartooning commission. This has been an artistically productive year.

So that’s good.

I STILL don’t have a day job, I still don’t have a plan, I’m still in Little Falls again and… I’m really lonely for the company of a lady who likes me as much as I like her again. Yet again.

So yes. To reiterate what I said in a previous barrage, no bullshit overshooting resolutions this year.

I am an awesome writer. With a little luck and elbow grease, that will finally come together, I don’t need any resolutions for that.

I resolve to find a day job and kiss a beautiful woman full on the mouth wherein she enjoys that at least as much as I do in 2014.

Everything else will fall in place if those things do.

Next year in Jerusalem, right?

ALSO: 1,001 posts in Open Diary this year. Suck it, downtime.

I put on a zombie shirt this morning and thought, Next year with zombies? You are an awesome writer. Let us know when the second publisher puts the chapterbook out. 🙂
