My New Baby
I have been eBay-happy lately, if you havent been able to tell. I have no idea why but for the past month, between selling my own stuff and buying some converted items, I am on there ALL the time!
I sold 3 out of the 5 items I posted last week and they are being shipped off today. Not sure if it was worth the time and efforts but it got them out of my house so at least 1 thing was accomplished.
And for myself, I just received this little baby in the mail yesterday:
It is Coach, I adore the color so great for summertime and love the fabric. And, the best part it was only $53! I KNOW this bag brand new would be at least $150. Sure, the style is a couple of years old but what do I care. It is also used but sold by a trusted seller and came in great, almost new shape.
Then, because I didnt have a wallet to match, I had to get just ONE more thing:
From the picture, it looks like it will match the color of the straps on the purse really well. This little treat should be here by the end of the week, if I am lucky then I am all set up for summer!
And this will be the last of my purchases for a while I went through our checking account this past Sunday and decided to total my damages from our San Fran trip, my moms visit, my cousins wedding all of the clothes, the going out, the salon visits that were just for me, splurges, not things I really NEEDED but just wanted.
The damage? $1,000!
I about died! I felt so bad and thank GOD my annual bonus was deposited on Monday so I replenished our checking account and moved the rest of it to our savings account. I think I enjoyed myself quite enough for a long while. I hope to make no other big or little purchases for myself until fall. Especially since Brian just ordered this for himself this week to record the Tour de France this month.
I think we are set for a while!
We had a great time this weekend – here is honestly too much to talk about but rest assured, Brian had a fabulous birthday weekend. I snapped a few shots on our camera and hopefully by this weekend, I will be able to get them off the camera to share. Some of the highlights included 2 bottles of wine from 2 different wineries we visited in San Francisco, running through downtown Indy in the rain Friday to get from one bar to the next and dining outside on the water, on a warm summer night listening to a great band Saturday. *sigh*
That purse is super cute. I love the color.. I want a Tivo super bad.. we have a regular DVR… but I like the beep beep sounds the tivo makes.

It is sad to say but I spent most of my wages on COACH of some kind … key fobs, coat, hat, shaving kit, etc.etc.etc. I do miss living in sunny San Diego as there was a COACH literally down the street. I do love the sleekness, simpleness, elegance of COACH – and acquiring on e-bay – I say! Yes! (not to mention a killer price fo such a desirable item ….)

I had to laugh when I read this entry. Your title caught my eye, and I KNEW it wasn’t a 2 legged child … but I was half expecting a 4 legged one ! HAHAHA Only YOU would think of an accessory as a child 🙂 You crakc me up sometimes. I’m glad you guys had such a great weekend and look forward to seeing the pics of the birthday boy when you get around to posting. K
