Thankful
Well, Dad only had to have the tube in to drain his stomach for little less than a day, which was a day sooner than they said he’d be able to get it out. Praise God! He was really struggling with it being in. I truly believe that the power of prayer was hard at work for him. He is feeling much better, and I could even hear him talking and laughing in the background when I talked to my mom yesterday. If all went well through the night, he may get to come home today. Yay!
Doctors said that they think the cancer cells were all contained in the prostate; however, there were some cells close to the edge. So, they are going to keep a close eye on him in the upcoming months to make sure that no other signs of cancer reapper. If they do, they will do radiation treatments at that time.
Thanks for those who sent prayers our way. They are greatly appreciated! God bless…
So glad your dad is doing well! 🙂

I’ll continue to pray! I hope how tricky and difficult it is to deal with. My dad got prostate cancer about 5 or 6 years ago. He went through treatments, but it reappeared a couple years later. So far, so good. But I know how overwhelming it can be. *hugs* Ashley
