Seven Random Facts

Each player starts with seven random facts/habits about yourself. People who get tagged need to write their own diary entry about their seven things as well as these rules. At the end of your entry, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged & list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a note telling them that they’re tagged, and to read your diary!!

1) I am deathly afraid of getting into trouble.  I was a goody-goody all through school because I didn’t want to do anything to get into trouble.  I was the type who never drank until I was 21 and who panics every time I pass a cop.  It’s crazy, really.  I look for everyone for approval, and that really do cause problems at times.  I am trying to get better, but I am still afraid of getting into trouble or having someone upset with me.  I am a people pleaser.

2) I live within 30 minutes of my parents and 20 minutes of my in-laws.  Truth to be told, I would get homesick if I lived much farther away.  I miss seeing my parents and in-laws if I don’t get to see them for  a few weeks. 

3)  I sometimes question whether or not teaching is where I want to be.  I love my students and having my own classroom and the people I work with, but I’m not sure I can handle this level of stress for the next 30 years.  I am putting way too much on myself right now to get my Master’s degree just so that I can have other options in the future and not feel trapped in my current career. 

4) I am so ready to be a mom.  Holding my nephew makes me want one of my own so badly.  My husband and I are trying to wait until I’m closer to be done with my grad work so that I don’t have a baby on top of work and classes. 

5) I am scared to death that we won’t be able to have children.  I have fought different female problems since my teenage years and am very irregular.  I worry that we are going to have to try forever before getting pregnant and that I will become very discouraged.  I know that, God willing, everything will work out, but it’s still a thought that’s always in the back of my mind. 

6) I have always lived in Kansas, and I can’t imagine living elsewhere.  I love to visit the cities for vacation, but I wouldn’t trade the wide open spaces here in western Kansas.  I love ot be able to get to work in less than 5 minutes and not have to deal with the fast-paced life of the city.  I like the small town feel and the safety of knowing a majority of the people here.   

7)  I love to travel!  If I could, I would spend my entire summer traveling places.  I like the feeling of being free and being able to go where we want to, when we want to.  I enjoy spending that type of time with my husband.  It’s fun to get away and just be the two of us!
