Leavin’ on a Two-Lane

Sorry…that’s the best rhyme that I could come up with for "jet plane."  We aren’t actually flying, so I figured I had better change the words.  Anyway, we are about an hour or so away from leaving for Colorado Springs.  We are making the trip with my parents.  I am so excited to travel with them!  We are staying in a really nice hotel where we can do some swimming.  I’m not sure what else we’re going to do while in the Springs, but I am sure we’ll keep ourselves busy! 

Today is hubby’s birthday, so we have plans to go and eat out when we get into the Springs tonight.  There’s a restaurant called Solos that part of it is actually in an old airplane.  We ate there for my bachelorette party and thought it was really neat, so my mom and I want to take the guys there tonight.  We’ll see! 

I will have to post some pics and give an update when we return.  I hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend and that you’re keeping cool (especially if it is as warm where you’re at as it has been here…).
