Sweetness of Life

I saw that someone had put the entire The Secret movie on Youtube and I bookmarked it to watch it for later. I finally got around to watching it and I have to say that I was wrong about it. I hate the way things can get pulled out of context and then it just is crap… but I gave it a chance and I’m glad I did because its not crap and I actually have hope again. And I feel like there is magic around again.

So, I was filling Mich in on what was in the movie, telling her we should make a vision board and stuff… she likes that stuff too… and she tells me she has a few books that are sorta like what I watched. Later in the day I went upstairs and there were two on the bed. Low and behold, the author of both is one of the people in the movie. I’m excited to read them.

I haven’t done anything about yoga classes yet, but thank you for your support on the subject. I do need to call the owner of EY and either talk to her on the phone or in person, because I’m ready to move on from there. I’m not even nervous about doing it… I’ve just been really bad about making phone calls. I also need to call my dentist to reschedule my appointment.

Easter was so much fun as usual. But I also ate way too many sweets and of course because we got baskets, I’m still eating too many sweets. I’m trying to ration it out to myself though! LOL We did the easter egg hunt with the doggies and then they got their baskets. It was all new to Rosie and she needed some help, but once she caught on she loved it. We also took her upstairs again for a nap on Sunday and she again went all the way down the stairs on her own (with some encouragement from mini marshmellows). I wish we could work with her on this every single day, but it just takes too long to get her back down the stairs. I have a feeling though that once she is confident going down the stairs, she’ll come right up on her own. I’m not sure how Amos will feel about that though LOL

This Friday is my birthday. I can’t believe it. Mich has been coordinating with our friends and I think we are all going to go out on Friday night for some food and drinks and a little walk around town for First Friday. I hope the weather is nice. I took off from yoga on Saturday because I had hoped to take a day trip or something for my birthday, but now I’m not sure.

Did I mention I’m going away to Miami next week for work. It was craziness trying to plan it with all the other people, but we finally settled on a few days that worked for everyone. I have to come home early so that we can go to a show, but hopefully I’ll still get some fun downtime in there. They actually are getting me a car service to take me to and from the airport so that I don’t have to drive and be there so early. As it is, I have to leave at 5 a.m. next Wednesday. Without the car service, it would have been a lot earlier.
