Rosie’s Blog
Well, we are fully into day two of Rosie’s new home and I must saw we are all very happy with each other. It only took Shanti one day and she was already touching noses with Rosie. This is a huge step. As I type this, Rosie is snoozing by the TV, Amos is upsidedown on the couch next to me, and Shanti is spa-ing it out on the radiator.
Life is very peaceful with this girl. Amos seems to like her outside… but still hasn’t made much of an attempt to play with her. Maybe he knows something we don’t. We are taking it very slow as suggested by everyone who knows breeder dogs.
She seemed to regress a little yesterday. I was feeding her lunch and while she was eating, I turned on the stove and her nose went up in the air and she started running around the the downstairs. I had to take her outside to help her calm down, but now she’s having some fear of the stairs to the deck again. We really have to coax her into the house. At least she is really starting to learn her name.
We are very very happy with this addition to our home!
Great news!

I’m glad she’s settling in!

Yay.. I’m so glad it’s working out. Amos sounds like he’s handling her very well.. the disinterest is probably him asserting his dominance in a very unthreatening manner
