Oh come ON!!

Good god! WTF… So, now Amos is sick… over the last few days he has lost his appetite and Mich said he wouldn’t eat anything but an egg for lunch. I got him to eat his dinner by adding egg and fish to it, but about 5 minutes later he puked it all up. Meanwhile we just spent over $150 on Rosie to have her recheck and buy new meds. This is just nuts. I don’t know what is going on… Amos seemed more or less fine with the exception of the hellacious thunderstorms we had this past holiday weekend. So, we weren’t entirely sure if the loss of appetite was from stress or something else. But, today is beautiful and well… no improvement. 🙁 Fingers crossed we won’t be making another trip to the vet this week.

Other than Rosie now being on a pretty steady regimen of ear meds and washes, she is, I would say, 100% back to normal. So, that is good news. She has come out of her shell so very much. We hardly ever see her do anything that she used to do… She really loves toys now, and yesterday she went upstairs on her own to take a nap in the bathroom (which is pretty much her bedroom at night). She came back down carrying a toy in her mouth. She loves walks and affection. She is playful in the yard and just an all around kick ass girl.

Otherwise, work has been good. My schedule changed, but I think it will all work out. Mich hasn’t seemed terribly stressed out so far this semester, but she’s only just begun, so hopefully it will continue to go smoothly. She starts her clinic hours in two weeks.

I gave up on that new workout program after only a few days, but I haven’t given up on working out. I actually just decided to go back and do the whole LiveFit program over again, but adding on things that I knew worked better for me and maybe taking up the intensity at the beginning a little bit. So, I’ve completed week one which seemed rediculously easy. I remember doing that first exercise over 3 months ago (3 sets of 12 pushups) and struggling through them. Granted, I still do the easy kind of pushups (on my knees), but I flew thru them with not much effort. I suppose that means I need to get off my knees LOL. Yesterday was supposed to be a day off, but I went to a spin class instead. When Mich and I got there, a guy who we met at the gym said we are "getting skinny." It felt good to hear it.
