I love my new car. She’s so pretty and so much fun to drive. I wish I had more fun places to drive it, but I’ll take what I do have. It was so so so rainy yesterday coming home from work and I was so scared! I was driving my car like an old lady. LOL I want to own my car for more than a month! I took it to the dealer last Tuesday to have a coating put on the paint and fabric to keep it like new for 5 years. Protects it from things like damage from tar, water, rust, bird droppings, etc. And it protects the fabric from stains. It looks like this Tuesday I’m going to be bringing it in to have them fix something. The "passenger air bag off" light kept coming on all day yesterday. Other than that, its been a dream!

My class on Sunday went really well. Its interesting to teach future teachers. They actually sorta get the stuff I’m talking about and have questions and are interested in it rather than eyes glazing over and confused looks on faces. I got some really awesome feedback and felt really good about the class in general. Who knows… maybe I’ll get to do it again someday.

We visited my niece and nephew on Sunday also. Had so much fun. I got him a few little things for his birthday and he had a blast with each of them. A 3 foot tall styrofoam airplane which lasted a few hours before the tail snapped in half. I think that’s one of the reasons I had such great memories of that toy… because its so much fun for the time you have it, but then it breaks long before you get bored with it. LOL And he was super excited about the lego helicopter I got him, which took me an hour to put together and took him about 15 minutes to drop and have fly into pieces. LOL We got it mostly put back together before we left, but there were definitely a few pieces missing. It was a nice visit though. My niece is such a cutie and just smiles ALL the time!

Work is still good and I’m still enjoying myself for the most part. blah blah blah

I made it through the second week at the gym and we are on rest again. I really like weight lifting. I hate hate hate cardio so much and I always want to just skip the gym when that’s what I go there for… But this weight lifting and having something different to do each day is really great. Thursday will start the 3rd week of a 3 month program we are on… Just the beginning, but I’m already seeing results. And I’m still loosing weight.

Last by certainly not least is about Rosie… She has really been coming out of her shell more and more. I think she’s finally starting to "GET" the whole idea of the pack. She now comes upstairs with us pretty much every night and sometimes she still goes back downstairs early in the evening, most recently she has been coming back up and we see her there in the morning. She has been staying upstairs also even after Mich leaves for work. Today she followed Amos upstairs and stayed there while I took my shower and got ready for yoga. Another huge step was that she actually laid down on the couch next to Mich. Mich has been working with her to get all the way up on the couch, but she wouldn’t lay down. Of course this is all treat motivated, but as long as its a happy experience, she’ll probably do it again and again. You can almost see it in her eyes that she understands that she belongs and she’s part of the family. She looks so happy and we are so lucky that we got her!
