Rory…why? Why do you lie? And like a fool, I believe it. You told me…you told me you were gonna talk to my parents about what has been going on..but you lied. Now, things will never be the same. They won’t ever trust you again…and as shameful as it is, I want them to. Even though you let them down. And you let me down. I don’t want this to be the end. Even though..it is. GOD! You were perfect. I think I screwed you up. I tried to change you..I tried to open up doors for you. I gave you a different roof over your head. A more stable one. I messed with your fate..and this is my punishment. I’m losing you. I’m losing a BEST FRIEND…and a good person. You can’t stand up and be a man. It was so important to me that you talk to my parents…let them know that you’re not giving up in life. They need to hear it from you, not me. They DESERVE it for all they’ve done for you. They gave you the roof, they gave you the phone, they made it possible for you to have the car. And this is how you repay them? I’m not asking for repayment and they would never ask for it either..but don’t you think they deserve to hear the reasons why you quit school and your job?
