What Is Fate?

Is fate something that happens on it’s own? Or do you make it happen? Are you a strong believer in fate or are you a strong believer in your own consequences? Basically, what decides where you will be in ten or twenty years?

One of life’s pondering questions that..well, you just either believe or you don’t.  Is it fate that we end up happily married with four children, two dogs and a cat? Or did we make that happen for ourselves? 

What happens when you love two people at one time? Then what? Who chooses the fate? What decision will leave me with the best consequence?
