The Final Trip
That’s it. It’s over. This past weekend was my last FCCLA meeting as an FCCLA member. I’ve joined the alumni so hopefully I can give something back to the organization. It will never ever be as much as what it has gave to me, but it’s something. These past four years of my life have been amazing. Without FCCLA..where would I be? Most importantly, WHO would I be? Not the same person..not even close. So many of the values instilled in me got there because I was a part of the best organization in the world.
Thank you to two of my favorite people, my advisor and my cousin. Without you, I know I wouldn’t have had the experiences that I have had.
Thanks to the last speakers I heard..Chris Bowers and Jeff Yelden. I hardly know you but I already love you. ("Don’t Tug on the Wire" and "I’m Special")
Thanks to all of the speakers I’ve ever had. You’ve changed my life.
Thank you to Robin Carnahan (Jessica Simmons) and Jack Goodman for letting me shadow you on Missouri FCCLA Legislative Shadowing Project. You’ve made me realize even more that I would like to go into politics some day.
Thank you Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
