A New Beginning

It’s official now. Rory and I are together. He properly asked me out today and promised he wouldn’t leave me again. The only thing different in this coming relationship is that I am keeping my head above water. The decisions I make are going to be smart and responsible. "How much you put into a relationship is how much it’s going to tear you apart when it ends". Cynical, no doubt, but very true when you stop and think about it. One thing I like about Rory so much is that he is so respectful of women or "young ladies". Not just with me, and I like to see that because if it was just to me, it wouldn’t be his true character. He means it.

The events leading up to today….

• Friday Night- hung out at my house, watched movies and chilled.
• Saturday Night- Hot tub time! We spent a good hour and a half before he got courage enough to go ahead and kiss me for the first time. (Jan. 27, 2007-date for me to remember) 
• This morning..he held my hand as we were walking down the hallway..so I guess we were together before officially being together.

Well, I was kind of bummed to see that Miss Oklahoma actually win Miss America. I wanted Texas or Georgia to win. They were the best honestly. Every year it seems like whoever is judging always seems to pick the dumbest answer given in the Interview part of the competition.

It’s Tip-Off week and this Friday is the dance. Had someone bid on me already. The bid is at $5.00 right now..wonder if it will change. Prolly not as people start to see Rory and I walking down the hallway holding hands. Oh, the bid is for one dance. We have a new DJ and we have karioke this time! Yay! You know I love that! This week they are playing that song MMBop by Hanson (compliments to myself for supplying the CD) and doing a thing called "Stop the Bop" where we play it throught each 5 minute break and throughout lunch and students can pay to stop the bop. Hoping to raise money for StuCo cuz we are so in the negitive.
