on the job
Started my new job at the juvenile center yesterday. It’s pretty laid back. There haven’t been any major happenings as of yet. I like the job and the people I work with. I’m still training and I know I have a lot to learn, but I’m excited about it. $8.50/hr. for 32 hrs. a week. If I can pull 8-10 hrs. of Ernie’s pizza on the side a week, that’ll be awesome. I could, in theory, use my juvenile center job to pay bills and save, and Ernie’s pizza money for spending on whatever I want. We’ll see how things go.
Talked to Keith last night for a long time. We discussed points of our relationship and how it relates to the situations we are in now. He talked to me about possibly breaking up with Katie. I kind of hope he sticks it out. I want to talk to him a little more about it. Maybe I’ll call him tonight. I’m happy he’s going to be my “date” for Ray and Dana’s wedding. And I hope he comes up for my party.
Mom, Karen, and I all went to Curves tonight. The college special is $99 for the summer, and I know if I buy it, I’ll use it. It felt good to work out. I didn’t think about anything, but the moment. But, I have to wait for a paycheck or two before I can pay for it.
Talked to Casey the past two nights, and both conversations went very well. I love him, and miss him so much. I can’t wait for all my friends to come down in June. Much fun.
Gotta go for now…we are headed to Ernie’s for supper and it’s getting ready to storm.
