Laundry day

It’s laundry day. I’ve had a ton of dirty clothes smelling up my space since the last time I went home. Luckily I haven’t had to smell them because I’ve practically been living with Casey. So, I pulled them all out and took them downstairs to the washers, which are all completely full, and paid for the loads with the quarters that my family brought me on Sunday.

Cleaning the dirty laundry. Hate to do it. Gotta get it done so I can finish out the year in clean clothes. Hmmm…what a great metaphor.

It’s a busy day today. I’ve been getting a lot of stuff done in the 2 1/2 hours I’ve been awake, took my medication, and I’m on to homework. Hopefully I can relax this evening in an environment that does not raise my anxiety and panic levels.

My roommie and I have been on pretty good communication terms. We went to see Secret Window  and to Taco Bell after a long discussion about recent events. We’ve been on great terms except for lunch today when I didn’t sit with her because of the other parties at the table or say hello because I didn’t want a scene. And considering my frustration and resentment at the lack of cooperation and civil behavior, I might have created one. It’s always difficult to be civil to people who do not respect you or are not tolerant of you and your ideas, words, and actions when you are tolerant of theirs. Yet, it is something I strive for. Anyway, I hope she’s not angry with me. I doubt it. I had no intention of offending her. She most likely understands. I should have at least said hello.

Well, I’ve got stuff to do for Enviro if I’m gonna pass the class, and I have appointments to schedule.

Nah, you’re fine. 😉 But you knew that. Was dumb of me to ask why you didn’t sit there, but I guess I was just surprised you didn’t say hi. No biggie. Hi. 🙂
