It.

…is no longer an IT — HE is a boy! 😀

He looks a lot like Evie — Chubby McChubbs, strong limbs, good profile (looks like mine, heehee), already making fists, trying to suck his thumb.

I’m not one of those people who think that boys are girls are inherently different, aside from physical things like penises and vaginas, so I’m not all "Oh no, he’s a boy so he’s going to be more trouble".  Pluh.  Society tells boys that it’s okay to be troublesome, so that’s why some boys act that way.  It’s not inborn or hard-wired.  Also, I don’t believe that boys automagically LOOOVE their mums more than little girls do.  If he loves me more than Evie does, he’ll be surgically attached to me, because the Evesmeister is all about some Mummy (I love it, it’s the cutest thing EVER!).

So, yeah.  Stereotypes are annoying, I am thrilled, I like having children, I can’t wait for this one to arrive!

Iwan will just stop, stare at me, and tell me, out of the blue, how gorgeous I look.  I LOVE that.  I DO feel more attractive than usual, even with the tummy.  I’m glad I have my jet-black, shiny hair back.  I feel so ridiculously cuddly toward him — it’s just so CUTE and cuddly to know that his baby is inside me, all wrapped up and cozy.  Even Evie loves to gently pat my tummy and lay her pretty head against Baby Brother.  She is truly the sweetest kid ever.  She goes out of her way to make others happy.

Today was my last day of class — final exam day.  I have another online class beginning May 30 until…the end of July, I think, and then a face-to-face class, on campus, Monday-Thursday, from the end of June to the end of July.  Teaching almost every day, w0000t!

I’ll write again later with some current pictures.
