crap missed a day again
I missed yesterday…moving on
So today after teaching sunday school, V’s teacher comes back in and asks if I have jumper cables. Evidently her hubby sat in the parking lot for approx 20 minutes with the switch on, but the engine off. Thus draining their battery. So I said sure, and put V in the car, and grabbed my jumper cables out of the back. I bought jumper cables about 6 years ago when I first got a car. I hadn’t used them until today.
So I get to their car, and the battery is “missing”. They have a Saturn and it was under a screwed in compartment. Of course no screwdriver in either of our cars. So I then use pennies to unscrew the top, hook the cars up to jump them and tell her husband to go start the car. He gets it to start right up. He commented a few times that “he lost his “man-card” today”. I don’t think he liked getting “saved by a GIRL”. 🙂
Nice work!!!

ryn: we do have a leaf blower! (as i said in my entry lol) but he needed to rake them in order to easily blow them out of the yard into the woods. we weren’t going to bag them; there was way too many of them!

How weird that the battery was in a compartment. Saturns are weird anyway. lol
