While Driving My Cigarette

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

I thought that I was going to have to go back to bed this morning. My left eye just did not want to be open. There is nothing wrong with it I think that it just decided to be lazy for a bit. I made it through and I am over it now.

I was up until almost 5 AM dinking around. Oh, if you have read about the things that I have done in the past you know that this could be a bad thing. Deleting stuff from my computer that I should not be deleting ~ dinking around like that. But this time was different. I got and followed instructions correctly this time. I removed a bunch of stuff ~ like the stuff that was automatically downloading ~ spy-ware, tracking-ware (is that a word?), and just junk that was making my computer run really, really slow! Let’s all cheer together because I did not mess up my computer this time ~ I did not have to run my System Recovery! I am really doing the happy dance. Even typing this in MS Work Word Processor seems to move faster. Before I would be typing and have to wait for the words to show up.

I guess that I was not all that happy that I did not mess up anything. I had to go back in and remove more stuff ~ so far I am ok. I only deleted something that I had two of and they were identical. It was something for my printer but I just used my printer and it seems to be okay.

The Schwan’s man was here a bit ago. I in my jammies and my hair all a mess ~ he is used to seeing me like this and I am not out to impress him. He said that the roads are terrible ~ both the highway and the gravel! Ugh! That is what I get for thinking “come Spring this road (the gravel road) won’t be so bad because there is no snow on it.” I guess Mother Nature wanted to make it difficult for those of us who travel that road. Darn it anyway!

Yesterday my cigarette lost a hot ash. It went into the sleeve of my jacket and sweatshirt. I did not realize that I had a blister on my wrist from it. I broke the blister open last night while typing. Now I keep rubbing it on my keyboard tray. Owee! Oh woe is me! Just kidding.

(I had to edit the first line of this paragraph but I wanted to put it here because I think that it is funny so here is the unedited sentence. “Yesterday while driving my ciggarette….” Like I was driving a cigarette! Heheheh! Maybe I am just tired.

I really think that I have lost my mind. I tore apart my keyboard. Yes, I said I tore apart my keyboard. I took it apart to clean it. Can you say gross! It was so gross ~ so much for no food and no drinks at the computer. Looks like my kids listen really well. NOT! Talk about breeding grounds for bacteria. Yuck! I heard of someone putting their keyboard in the dishwasher. I would never just throw my keyboard in the dishwasher but when I had it open I really, seriously thought about it. I recalled the source of that information and figured that it was not true. So I got my keyboard all cleaned out, spiffed up, and put back together. I plugged it in to find that my 1 key does not work ~ neither one of them! You are probably wondering how I typed that 1 ~ I have two keyboards. So it is the original keyboard that I got all shiny and almost new. I will not attempt to clean the one that I am using until I get the other one working properly.

All this is from Thursday afternoon and I never got it posted because I got side tracked.
