Ugly Bug

I did not get back here in the afternoon like I thought that I would. I had to pick up Tyler from school. He had a bellyache! His teacher said his head is on his desk and he has tears in his eyes. When we got home he went right to his room and crawled into bed. He was asleep in an instant. I felt a bit sleepy so I too laid down for a nap. I sleep so much better during the day compared to the night.

I got a few phone calls. One was from the little boy up the road asking me to pick him up for the game. With Tyler home sick I could not go to the game. Had I been awake and thinking I would have offered to pick him up and give him a ride to the game anyway.

I can not remember who called next ~ bad Lucy. Then the girls called from the school letting me know that the game was done. I picked them up from the school and brought them home. I could have gone right back to sleep when we got home but I couldn’t because I had to get ready for work.

Traveling has been quite slow. Freezing drizzle then snow. I thought that I was going to get storm stayed in town but it cleared up by the time I got done working. The roads are icy but not too terrible if you just take your time. I was glad that the roads were deserted! I did not have to worry about the freaks that think that they can still drive 100 MPH even on ice.

I made it home and found Alexa sleeping on the floor in Dick’s room. She has the pukes tonight! Ugh! Need I say more? I am sure that I will be next but probably not until Sunday. Maybe Saturday because I don’t work. I can not be sick Saturday ~ I have plans!!
