The Weekend

My birthday was great. The massage was heavenly! Lunch at the Blue Moose was divine. I hung out at the office for a little bit after lunch because I was not able to schedule a haircut and had nothing else to do. Then I went to Wal*Mart I am not sure if I really had a mission or if I was just trying to waste some time. Oh, I thought that I should brush my teeth after lunch so I was on a mission for a toothbrush and toothpaste…since I did not bring mine to town with me. I also ended up buying a CD player because I don’t have one. As I was getting into my car Mr. Secret called to let me know that he did get a room so that we would be able to watch the hockey game together. That is much better than having to sit in the bar to watch it.

The game was not all that exciting but UND won. GO SIOUX.

I came home pretty much right after the game because I had to be to work at 6:30 AM.

SATURDAY

I filled the only job that we have right now. Needed 12 guys and had about 14 guys show up to go to work.

I was able to just stay home and watch the game. It was on a channel that I do get. It is a good thing that I did not know that before because I would have just stayed home Friday night too. Saturday night’s game was a 1-1 tie with a lot more action. Again I had to got to bed early because I had to be to work at 6:30 again. Not such a good turn out…I only sent out 5 of the 12 guys that they wanted. I can’t send them out if they don’t show up.

My children know that I have “SUCKER” written across my forehead when it comes to them and animals that might go to the pound and/or get put to sleep.

We are now the proud owners of a baby boy Maxine.

His name is Sparta ~ he thinks that he is a lap dog~ and we all hate that name. He is a five month old Golden Retriever and he is pretty. I think that he is finally settling in but last night he was awake most of the night

I took him with me to work this morning so that Alexa could get some sleep. Her exact words “Nadine can ignore him and he leaves her alone. If I ignore him he humps me.” Of course that makes me laugh because I have a sick sense of humor. He rides in the car so good!! You would not even know that he is with you. He is intimidated by men and was very nervous this morning…I had a mess to clean up! Wow he poops big and can poop on the run. I thought a horse went through the office. Oops!!
