The Rundown

I went to town this morning to do the banking only to discover upon arrival that Cocky had already done the banking. He has really messed up the banking schedule this week. No big deal!

I had to go to town anyway today. We were out of cat food ~ my babies were not very happy with me last night when I got home. I dumped the tiny bit of cat food that was left in the bag. Most of it landed on the ground rather than in the dish. They all looked at me like “HUH? Where is our late night snack?” Sorry kids bag is empty.

I picked some up today while I was at Sam’s Club and I did find the contraption that I was looking for. I tried it out but it is just not the same if you have to do it yourself. But I do know that if Dick and I are going to trade favors with it ~ he gets it first. That way I can really relax during my turn!

I just devoured a cob of corn ~ fresh, right straight from the patch to the pan! Yummy! Of course I had to drench it with butter and salt. For supper my children will be having corn on the cob, spaghetti, garlic toast, and fresh cucumber.

It will be a battle over the cucumber ~ it was not all that big so there are very few slices ~ they all love cucumbers. Supper is ready and waiting. They all must have after school activities. Cheerleading practice has started.

It is a beautiful day! I even had to turn on the air conditioner. It has been off for almost a week because it has been quite cool.

So there is the rundown for the day. Now I must get ready for work and I can not be late. My supervisor is working this afternoon.
