The Opinion of Cory’s Friend

While I was on my way to Cavalier Cory’s friend Barb called me. She tried talking to me the night before. I knew by the time of her call that she had been drinking. She is awful to talk to when she has been drinking. I have such a low tolerance for drunken people! She said that her cell phone was dying and had no long distance on her home phone. We got disconnected and she called back. Once again we got disconnected so I turned off my phone ~ it was already almost 2 AM and I was in no mood to talk to her while she was drunk.

I did talk to her on my way to Cavalier. I don’t mind talking to her when she is sober! We had a nice chat and I asked her if she thought that Cory may be having any mental health issues and she did not think so. I will take her word for it and not worry about it. She asked me why I thought that he would have issues so I told her that he told me he was in counseling when Dad had his heart surgery and he was almost done with his sessions when David committed suicide. She thinks that he is fine. If anyone would know it would be Barb ~ he and Barb were really close and he loves her. They are the best of friends.
