The Morning After

Today I am looking forward to relaxing! Derek graduates in about five hours! Yikes! Now I am glad that he had his Open House the day before. I would have still been trying to prepare and probably not made it to the ceremony.

We don’t have any graduates that we have to visit so I am not going to! Yep I am being lazy. I should go to Emily’s but I did not even get an announcement from her so I’m not going. I will buy her a gift which I had planned on doing anyway but with all the preparation for Derek she slipped my mind. Her parents gave Derek $100 which I thought was very nice. Her father is a doctor ~ he lives in Pennsylvania. I think that her mother is moving out there now that Emily is graduating. Emily is going to college out there and I thought that Derek would follow but he says no. We’ll see once they are not together all of the time.

It feels so good to just sit here and listen to the peace and quiet!
