The Flights Out

The flight to Minneapolis was fine. Smooth flying ~ it felt like I was sitting in a chair. This is nothing! We had a layover in Minneapolis for about three hours.

I decided I needed a soda and asked if anyone else needed one. KR needed one. I got to the little stand selling soda, juice, water, fruit, etc. Two dollars for a 20 ounce bottle ~ no thanks! I did buy one for KR. When I gave him his soda he asked about mine. I told him that I was not worthy of a $2 soda. Why is it that I will spend that money on someone else but not myself? That is just the way I have always been.

The flight to Las Vegas was fine too. I thought that I would either take a nap or read. I could do neither! I was assigned to a different seat than I sat in. My assigned seat was in the same row as an older gentleman with a very evident breathing problem.

I have a major issue with people blowing on me. I think that it stems from one time there was a very large man standing behind me. I thought that he was blowing on me. Then I realized that he was just exhaling through his nose, breathing naturally for him. It just bugs me to be breathed on. Ask one of the customers how I freaked out on him for blowing in my face. I lost it! Totally unprofessional but I could not help it!

All it would take is for this gentleman to look sideways and breath and I would be in a state of panic. I chose not to sit in my assigned seat and took the seat between KR and JM. I really wanted the window seat but I could not be choosy. When I tried to sleep or read KR and JM would strike up a conversation. No big deal, just distracting.

We landed in Sin City with no lost luggage. No problems! Now I am trying to sort out the days. What did we do and what day was that?

RYN I changed my colors, I didn’t know it was the difficult to read. Let me know if that’s better.

Had i known you had a lay over in MINN. for 3 hours, i would have drove up to see you. It is 3 hours from my house. I wish you felt better. Try some soda crackers and some watermellon. Yes watermellon relieves nausea, so i’ve been told, by a pregnant woman at that!

You are funny. I can’t stand anyone blowing on me either. 🙂 Hope you are feeling better soon. I can’t imagine anyone not liking Vegas! 🙂
