Terminated and Decorated

I want to apologize to anyone that tried to enter my world. I did not mean to offend anyone ~ I did not “block” anyone. All I did was put my OD on private so I could decorate. (Thanks Roller Beth for the idea.) I forgot how close Halloween actually is. Just yesterday it seemed like the summer was just beginning and now winter is nearing. So now I am all gussied up and I did it all by myself !

My chili turned out really good! Dick brought home an empty crock-pot. I called early in the day (yesterday) to find out if they had eaten yet. “It’s all gone!” No need to ask my next question then. It was either good or they were just too hungry to not eat it. 🙂

Now that it has taken me almost all of my day to decorate. ~ it is naptime for me. I went to bed early. Yes, you read that right ~ I went to bed early and got up early. If I don’t take a nap I will be wiped out before I even go to work. Let’s not mention the ride home! I have prayed more than once not to fall asleep at the wheel and to be alert enough to notice any wildlife entering the hi-way.

I had to fire a girl that my supervisor hired. She has been scheduled many shifts to train. She made it to one training shift all the others she has called with excuses.

• I have to take my grandma to the doctor.
• I had surgery ~ (surgery that has an overnight recovery.I had the same *surgery* a few years back.)
• I have a schedule conflict with my other job. (She lost the job that she claims to have a schedule conflict with.)

Captain is the one that influenced Sup to hire her. I wanted nothing to do with that one because she is from up north. Not that being up north is a bad thing but I get a lot of applicants that think that I will hire them just because I know them.

Well, I knew of this gal too. I hired to her babysit for me ~ one time~ in advance. On the day she was to babysit I went to pick her up and she was no where to be found.

She is well known for calling in sick all the time and being fired from jobs for that reason. This town is still not that big that word does not get around.

Okay ~ done! Nappy time!
