Still no good title ~don’t want to use the date

I stayed up late again last night and I work the open shift, including banking today. That is really cuts into my computer time!

The kitties are going to be getting a new home soon. They will be eight weeks old tomorrow. I am hoping that the pet store will take them! I am tired of cleaning up little packages when they get let in. We have been keeping them out in the garage. While we were all gone Dick put them out there. They do get to come into the house when the kids get home. I just wish that the kids would also bring in the litter box or keep a better eye on the babies. They dump behind the television.

I had to mix up a batch of OxyClean and I was cleaning up the packages when I got home from work. Not really what I had planned on doing but someone had to clean up that mess. I smelled it right when I walked in the house.

When I decided that it was time to go to sleep I got myself situated in front of the television to watch some Court TV. Cops had just gotten done. I usually find something other than Catherine Crier to watch but I decided not to change the channel. They covered the police beating of that man ~ I can not remember his name but it was a recent one. The controversy of using too much force or just doing their duty. The man ended up dying. *I am keeping my opinion to myself because this falls into the same category as politics and religion ~ we all have an opinion and it may not be the same but it is not worth arguing about.* Catherine Crier also covered the Dru Sjodin case. It has also been covered by Good Morning America and The Today Show. I think these are the two that I read about in the local newspaper.

The $20,000 reward that was first offered has grown to $140,000.

It has been almost two weeks since Dru went missing.

I hope they have the right person in custody.

ST. PAUL – The arrest of a Minnesota sex offender in the abduction of a North Dakota college student prompted Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty to call Tuesday for the death penalty in his state.

Pawlenty said he will ask the Legislature to allow juries to impose the death penalty in cases where sexual assaults are coupled with murders or attempts to murder, where police and children are killed and in “other heinous crimes.”

“As a Minnesotan, as a governor, as a dad of two young daughters, I’m fed up. I’m fed up with these stories where we have children abducted, women abducted with a not very good system for resolving the issue,” he told a news conference.

“It will be an uphill battle, but I am going to push it.”

This is another issue that falls into the politics and religion category.

For now I must get ready to leave!

Off and running like a lunatic!

you are a wise woman, cuz! you could really start some arguments on those topics!

Those “topics” are why we can’t stand to be around most of our old friends. They are all on one side of the fence and Jim and I are on the other… on almost everything. Now we are too old to make new friends and all of our friends have turned into old bigoted farts.
