Shrek 2

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

I did take the kids to Shrek 2. I did not get to see it! Alexa invited a friend to spend the night so I paid for her movie ticket too. I did not have enough cash for everyone to get into the movie and drinks too. We sneak candy in and my kids will not eat movie theater popcorn after watching the episode of Candid Camera where they were telling the movie-goers that the popcorn was left-over from the previous movie. I really do not blame them at all ~ I don’t much care for movie theater popcorn ~ other than Dakota Theater popcorn. I really thought that I had enough cash but didn’t and the theater does not take checks.

Just after I dropped the kids off at the movie Dick called. He crashed the 4-wheeler. He is fine but he thinks that he wrecked the 4-wheeler. That is just great pay on a $7000 machine that you can not even ride! I was pissed but I did not let him know that. I asked if he had been drinking. I did not sound like it to me but I asked anyway. He said “that’s just the thing I didn’t drink all day but after that they had beers with so I had some beers” I told him then don’t drive home, just stay with J and J. He said that is why I called. Okay then.

I did a happy dance when I got out of the car! The less that I have to be around him right now the better off that I am. Although I am okay with being just roommates I still crave affection and attention ~ I’m a girl! Old habits die hard! I can do this, I have the strength.

I went to play the last game of bingo just for a place to hang out during the movie. I sat with two of my regular customers ~ I have so many friends. Actually SG was really quiet. We got the consolation prize. These guys think that I am crazy because I love Fire and Ice (pull-tabs) and I wanted to play that jar. Unenthusiastically they put their $10 in too. So we played $30 and pulled $250! I had my check back and some extra cash ~ I was happy. But of course that was not good enough, they decided that we should play a different pull-tab. So we played and played until I was down to having only $5 cash left. They wanted to put in more cash but I told them “lets just do the play-backs. So we did that and we got $500! Woohoo! So the pay-off for not being able to see Shrek 2 was $160. I can handle that.

The kids loved the movie. I would not let them tell me about it because I plan on watching it and I did not want them to ruin it.

Hey! Shrek2! Listen to the opening song, it is my boys singing, Counting Crows! The song is “Accidentally In Love” and it is soooo good!
