Second Topic: Coffee Maker

I have had a Bunn coffee maker for years. Well through the years we have owned three Bunn coffee makers. I don’t think that I can live without it.

Anyway, I got an offer of two eight-ounce packages of coffee, two mugs, and a coffee maker for $12.95 with no obligation to order more coffee. I can not think of the name of the company right now. So I took the offer because I love coffee and wanted to try some different flavored coffee.

Last Thursday the package came in the mail. I opened it, I put the mugs in the dishwasher, I put the coffee in the cupboard, and I put the coffee maker in my closet. My coffee maker is working just fine ~ save this one for a later date.

Saturday afternoon when I made coffee my Bunn coffee maker started to dump the water out the bottom of the machine! Darn it! I have encountered this problem before and I really do not want to deal with it right now. I know the demise of my Bunn coffee maker is soon.

Sunday morning Dick took the top off (there is a first time for everything but is he actually going to try to fix it?)

I fixed it the last time by fitting the rubber washer just a bit better than it was after the plastic started to disintegrate. I was able to do it that time but this time I feel there is no hope!

I either have to deal with the new coffee maker, which does have auto-brew on it, or buy a new Bunn. Right now I am not willing the shell out $100 for a coffee maker so I went to the closet and brought out the new coffee maker.

Right now the Bunn coffee maker is looking at me and I can read its mind. “How dare you betray me like that! How dare you bring a new coffee maker into my home?” All I can say is I’m sorry Bud Bunn.

How is that for Ironic! Get the new coffee maker Thursday put it away to save for a later date only to drag it out three days later.
