Rocky

I guess that I am supposed to write. I keep closing windows that I really do not want to close. I was trying to read the newspaper and I usually open the front page then I choose an article that I want to read and open that in a new window. Well, I browsed the front page found an article, and opened it in the same window. When I was done reading it I closed it ~ closed the site! I have already had to re-connect to the internet too. I closed that not really wanting to. It must be too early for me to be up although I am enjoying the peace and quiet.

Alexa went up north with GW Friday night. Saturday morning she called me and said “please can I bring him home, they gave him to me for Christmas?” No a puppy is not a gift. People do not give animals as a gift unless they know that the recipient WANTS the animal. “Someone has to take him otherwise they have to do something to him.” I said no because you have animals here that no one wants to take care of. I am not having a puppy in the house ~ they poop and pee where ever they want. Puppies chew on anything and everything ~ including but not limited to clothing and shoes. No Alexa you can not have a puppy.

Then all I could think of is when I allowed Nadine to bring Buster home because she offered my mother a million dollars for him. I let Nadine have a dog. How could I possibly say no to Alexa?                            

Oh ~ I spoke too soon! The newest member of our family is awake! His name is Rocky and he is a Jack Russell/Chocolate lab mix! Yeah strange mix ~ his parents live in the same house. The father is Jack Russell.
