Ridiculous

Another night at the HL and just another night for people to sweat the small stuff! This is so ridiculous but I have to write about it because it has to do with the couple that gets so upset over the little things on a constant basis. This is the same couple that he called me a liar and a thief over the $2 that he won from a bingo game then his wife took it and bought more bingo cards.

Last night ~ we were on game number 5. It sounded like everyone in the bar called bingo. So Redhead went out and collected four cards. From the jar bar I could see that she missed one and since I was bringing her cash for the smaller payouts I did not call across the bar. I figured that I could get to the caller stand before he closed the game upon verification. That did not happen yet I had already noticed the other bingo before the caller started announcing the numbers not called. I stopped him from calling out any more numbers and told Redhead that there was one more card to collect.

Well this drops the prize for each of the players from $7 to $5.

So the angry couple thought that the caller called another number and the lady did not bingo on the last number called. Which is just an insane thought because he was not calling more numbers for the game he was calling the numbers that had not been called to verify these bingos. This probably makes no sense to anyone that does not play bingo. And really this way of thinking confuses me too.

This couple is so demented! I think that they need to lay off the sauce a bit.

Another glorious night at the HL.

The Bigs were in and rather than playing on one of the two table that were already open they wanted the third table open. I agreed to open the third table without even pointing out the fact that there are five spots open on each of the other two tables. A good manager opens tables at the player’s request. They played less than 30 minutes then left.

I am ready to return all the unsold and counted pull-tabs from the previous quarter. Everything is done! Just the way that I usually do it and get thanked by COO for getting my stuff in so soon after the quarter ends.
