Rambles on and on……about nothing

Another day gone and one to go before I get a day off. I look forward to my days off. I am thinking that I really need a change of scenery. Wednesday will be another day like Monday ~ just not as crazy. I will not sleep late and I will dress appropriately for work ~ not just banking.

Why am I still up when I do not want to oversleep in the morning? Hey it is morning but I am talking about later in the morning. I am waiting for the chili on the stove to simmer a bit. I can turn the Crock-Pot down to low. I can leave the Crock-pot on because it will only be for a couple of hours before Dick goes to work and he will take it with him. See I can be nice when I want to be. I make chili every year during beet season because they don’t get to go anywhere for dinner or supper.

Since I was making chili anyway I decided that I would make a big batch so that Dick could take some to work and we could have some here at home. The kids like chili! I like chili! I may even bring some to work with me so that I can have dinner and supper without having to eat out.

Wow this is bad! I have nothing more exciting to write about than making chili! Yet I am now more relaxed. Why does typing relax me so much? Maybe because it seems like work and work makes one tired.
