Nothing Special, Nothing New

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

I guess everything is going okay. Nothing special, nothing new.

I still feel at peace with my decision to be just roommates with Dick. I really think that we can do this. We speak to each other like friends would speak to each other. I think that is where we should be, we probably should have been a long time ago. I am more relaxed and have less expectations of him.

He is gone for the day ~ went up north to ride 4-wheeler with a former employee. I am actually glad that he is gone for the day.

He thinks that we are all going up north next weekend for Memorial Day. Sometime this week I will tell him that this part of “we” is not going up north. If he wants to go and take the kids with him (or leave the kids here) that is fine with me. I am not going. I have no reason to go and I think that he needs this time to reflect on his life. I am not sure if he know that he needs to reflect on his life but I think that he should ~ but I am not telling him that.

Work was uneventful! What is going on? We have had no “free entertainment” for so long! Oh I take that back ~ last night I laughed so hard I just about pissed my pants. A bus of girls “bachelorette party” came in. One gal was handcuffed to a blowup doll ~ his name was Carl. I took a couple of pictures. She was talking to him and kissing him. She even pulled down his briefs. I think this is a “had to be there” situation.

The girls suckered Cocky into paying $11 for three strings of bead. Back in the day we never thought of trying to raise money for the bride and groom before the wedding. Now they do quite a few things for that reason ~ selling suckers, lifesavers, even one little “link” (for lack of a better word) from a candy necklace. One bachelorette party had a wheel like a roulette wheel. Pay a dollar to spin ~ Dick got a playing card with a naked lady on it ~ with a picture of the brides’ face pasted to it. I can not remember the other assorted spins ~ kiss the bride, hug the bride, and lap dances.

(Ugh ~ AK is on the messenger! I am just not into talking to teenage girls even though she is the daughter of a friend of mine. I just have no reason to talk to her. Go away little girl because I am not going to talk to you.)

Those girls were having a great time. The barmaid and I discussed how thin most of the girls are and the cute clothes that they can wear. At that age I was so concerned about keeping everything covered. If I knew then what I know now! Hehehe! Now I am too old to dress like that even if I would.

I planted some cherry tomatoes, some other type of tomatoes, and some type of flower (Suffering from CRS) in a mini-greenhouse. The middle seed have sprouted! I am hoping that we get some warmer weather so that I can put them in the ground. I should just put them in pots. In order to do that I would have to find some soil that does not have so much alkali because using the soil from my yard would be defeating the purpose of growing them in pots.

I think that I am going to take the kids to see Shrek 2 after I pick Tyler up from the birthday party that is going to attend tonight. I really think that we would all enjoy that movie. You can bet your bottom dollar that I will be the owner of the video when it comes out.

I’m definately going to buy Shrek 2 when it comes out. I love the first one. Heck, everyone in this family loves the first one. I’d take Tommy to see Shrek 2 but I think he’s still a bit young. He’d probably watch for the first half hour and then want to run around..
