Not as Hectic Tonight

Just as I predicted I could not get Earthlink 2004 to work for me. So I uninstalled it! Piss on it! 5.0 is working for me just fine. I even downloaded an accelerator that seemed to work really good.

After I uninstalled everything that I downloaded earlier today I noticed a setting while nosing around. Something to do with a proxy server. When I still could not go anywhere on the web I decided to click that off. Sure enough everything is working fine. Now I wish that I had done that before I uninstalled everything. Oh, well ~ no great loss. I am here aren’t I? That is more than I can say before!

Some day maybe this area will get with the times in the real world and I will have a different choice. I have no choice ~ I have to have dial-up. Living out in the boonies makes it that way. There isn’t even cable out here and a funny thing ~ a guy that works for the cable company lives right up the road from me!

What can I tell you about work tonight? I was working with one very new employee and two other fairly new employees. It was not as hectic and crazy as it has been in the past. I started delegating easy jobs that were pretty much no-brainers. When mistakes were made I did not just correct them. I corrected them and made the error-maker aware of it. If I don’t tell them how are they suppose to know?

I am a horrible, horrible trainer! I would rather do it myself and have them watch because I am not good at explaining what needs to be done. I am really trying to get better as a trainer.

The Bigs came in again tonight. Again when they walked in no one was behind the third table since we already had two tables open. Someone should have been there. It is hard for me to manage these people while I am dealing! I get so frustrated because they just don’t get it. So I need to set another bitch session! Do this or go! I am tired of the hammer coming down on me.

Saturday night when they walked in I was at the table. I had just walked away to use the restroom but stopped at the jar bar to tell one of the other gals to go stand behind the table. But when they walked in no one was there!

So I am sure the hammer will come down again! 🙁
