New Years Eve

New Years Eve was fairly uneventful. I worked if you want to call it that. I sat at my desk browsing the internet because there is nothing else to do. But I was at work all day. All day I had the worst feeling ~ like there was something not right. I had an upset stomach, I would shake, and I had a knot in my neck from being so tense. Nervous about something and I have no clue what it was.

Of course, I made all my kids stay home so I had a brooding 17 year old because she didn’t want to sit here all night. What else did she plan to do? It’s not like she could go party, she’s pregnant. Her boyfriend was here. What more could she ask for?

The Wii for Christmas was a hit so I decided to buy a new game to play and celebrate the new year. The one that I thought would be fun was vetoed by the children. They chose one and it looks boring! Tyler had fun with it and I guess that is what count.

Alexa had her friend Lindsey come over and spend the night. Lindsey worked until 10. When she got here those two girls piled on my bed with me and we took pictures ~ and laughed!

Dick…well he was in bed by 8:30 at the very latest. He drank all afternoon with his brother so he was in great shape when I picked him up after work. At least he had a planned ride home. He knew about my feeling and he said that he didn’t plan to go out. Happy New Year Baby!

Now, I am thinking that he will stop drinking until the 4th of July. I hate that because he just starts getting over the dry drunk attitude when he starts drinking again. Then, right out of control with his drinking again. It is an ugly cycle!! I could be wrong, he just may continue to drink right through the winter.
