Nephews
My nephew C called me Saturday night while I was at work. He wanted his mothers phone number ~ he had lost the piece of paper that he had written it on. I am glad that they are back in contact. He has been angry with her for years because he took some hard knock because of her behavior. Things seem to be looking up for him. He got married April 7 and the little creep he did not tell anyone. It was a spur of the moment thing. I guess with the baby on the way it is a good thing!
Most of our family seems to do things backwards.
Today I called my nephew M ~ whom I have not seen or spoken to in years. After my sister sent him to live with his father we were not allowed to see him. Probably so that we would not know what was happening to him! He was being abused and neglected worse than he was when her was living with her. He ended up in foster care for a short stint according to him. He joined the Air Force and now lives in Alaska. It amazes me how much fun we had today and I really look forward to the next time. We were exchanging e-mail addresses and I asked him if he IMs. Yeah! So we got on the Yahoo Messenger, using the hands free mode. We talked and played Yahoo pool. I bet that we played eight games of pool. I only won two! It was a blast!
He directed me to an online photo album of his daughter that was born quite premature. I am not sure how premature she was but she only weighed 16 ½ ounces and was 11 ¾ inches. I will try to show just how tiny that is. It is just so unimaginable. (see photo on my front page.)
She did not live more than a couple of hours.
I found that out from my niece who happened to have her baby on the same date a year later.
