My Big Son is Growing Up!

On the lighter side and better news. My big son got a job! He is a dishwasher at Red Lobster.

Of course I was trying to instill some work moral in him so I was giving him instructions about how to act. “Even if you don’t want to be there, ACT LIKE YOU WANT TO BE THERE! And I explained the chances of advancing.

Well, someone has to. His dad gives up too easily on everything he does.

I know a guy that will hire him starting at $7 an hour dishwashing! Damn ~ I wish I had known that before. I never thought about it! Oh well the guy wants someone a little older than 16 anyway. So let Derek work for Red Lobster until he turns 17 ~ then the child labor laws are not so tight. He will have experience and can make good money!

High hopes for that kid! I hope he inherited my work ethics.

Okay now I am going to hit the hay!

Oh, I did some retail therapy tonight after work. I went to Wal*Mart because we needed TP. So I bought a new printer!
