More meetings ~ Sorry I went off on a tangent!

I made it through another entire day of meetings! I don’t know how much more I can take! I am sure that we will be having quarterly meetings sometime soon now so we can go to them with all the knowledge that we have gotten out of the meetings that we have recently attended.

Monday’s meeting was interesting. One of the Investigators from the police department came in and talked about forged checks. Yes ~ my site was used as an example except he had the wrong site! He used the name of different site in our organization. The manager was none too happy about that. She was thinking that something happened that she was not made aware of. I could not let her go on thinking it was her site so I pointed to myself which she understood.

I can not remember if I put an update out there on this situation. The chick got busted thanks to our fantastic surveillance. I guess at one point she looked right into the camera so we got a good look at her face. Actually I do not need a photo or anything to identify her I would know her to see her.

How it all began: The mailman put a box of checks, that belonged to her neighbor, in her mailbox.

When the investigators called her in she showed up with an attorney and she was wearing the exact shirt (a very identifying shirt) that she had been wearing when she forged the checks.

In this day and age with all the surveillance out there ~ YOU ARE GOING TO GET BUSTED! I just do not understand how she could do this. She is a single mother of two ~ three by now I am sure. Why would you put yourself in the position of possibly going to jail?

I think that I wrote about all this earlier and I went off on a tangent again!

Anyway!

The meetings were not sleepers, they were interesting! We had a very dynamic speaker on customer service. She was awesome and fun.

All “my kids” have to go to a seminar in October. It is the same one that I went to in Las Vegas ~ he is coming to the Frozen Tundra. After this seminar attitudes better change! It only takes one person to bring down the whole site.

If I walk in and see that the daytime people are crabby I am mad instantly. I try not to convey my mood to the customers but sometimes that is hard to do.

I am rambling again! Things will change or heads will roll.

Cowboy gave me his notice. I am very happy about that because he is such a downer! He hates gambling and gamblers, which I have known for a long time. I have explained to him over and over that it is not his money that they are spending but the money that they are spending provides him a paycheck twice a month. Okay so he is not cut out to be a blackjack dealer! I am glad that he quit because now I don’t even have to think about terminating him. I know that he has issues but he is the one that has to do something those issues.
