Mandatory Meeting

I really did not want to wake up Saturday morning so I was running late (like that is anything new.) I got ready for the meeting and just as I was about to leave I thought about GW. Maybe she just wanted to ride with me rather than both of us drive to town. So I called her ~ she had spaced out the meeting! I am so glad that I called her. I certainly would have hated to remove her from the schedule. We were not the only ones that ran late but I called my supervisor to let him know that we were on our way. Trying to make points I told him that I have cookies.

BM did not show up so he has been removed from the schedule. Apparently he quit his job. Which is good because he was on the verge of getting canned anyway. He used to be a nice kid. Now I can’t stand him and his laziness. He has been driving me crazy for the past two weeks. He is one that should have been there for sure.

I guess I am never happy! Mr. High Energy drove me crazy and now Mr. No Energy was driving me crazy. But there is a happy medium and most of the others that I work with are there in the middle with me.

My sister called me just as I was taking GW home after the meeting.

We got together and went to Gordman’s. She can not believe that I am not there all the time. I just don’t take the time to go shopping and since I have do creativity when it comes to decorating I just don’t go there.

She was looking at a comforter when a woman walked up and reached for it. Sister said “I was looking at that.” (That was the beginning of my embarrassment.) The woman told her that it is a nice color and that she really liked it. Sister said “yeah I know, I like it too.” So they were discussing the comforter, the woman picked it up like she wanted to buy it and asked Sister “do you want it?” Sister said “Yeah, yeah I do want it.”

I really don’t know why I was embarrassed. But I think that Sister decided that she wanted to buy it just because someone else wanted it. I may be wrong but that is the feeling that I got.

I did buy two candles (at 50% off) one scent I can not remember but it is heavenly! The other is piná colada scented and it is just so yummy. Makes me want to go to the beach and sip on a drink that comes with a little umbrella.

Work was uneventful once again. I guess not drama is a good thing but we could have some free entertainment. It has been a while since we have had any.
